Unfortunately I woke up fairly early Saturday morning and was not feeling very well, nothing serious just an upset stomach and queezy. I didn’t eat dinner the night before and didn’t have an appetite, so might have been something I ate in Exmouth on Friday. I just took it easy on Saturday.
I spent some time over at the Homestead working on the laptop and this was the office for the day. Not a bad place to sit and watch the world go by.
Everyone headed to the Sand Dune for drinks and nibbles and to watch the sunset but I decided to stay put back at camp. Col headed up with the rest of the group. I took my chair outside and sat and watched the sunset and it was beautiful. It is like a 360 degree sunset. It was a magical feeling sitting out there on my own and it isn’t something I would think to do if I was at home.
Behind me there were two trees packed full of the Corellas that were also enthusiastically watching the sun set, though not quietly. At one point they all took to flight and it was amazing to watch.
Col enjoyed the sunset at the sand dune and there was some fun and games with cars getting bogged on the way up the hill. Col and Indya managed to get bogged trying to turn around to leave. It didn’t take much to get themselves out, Col just had to let the tyres down a bit.
